Meet The Face Behind D1 Standard

I’m Jamie Armijo, the proud owner of D1 Standard.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

My journey in the market industry began about three years ago when I went through a rigorous management training program. I decided to enroll in this program as I wanted to learn more about the skills required to manage businesses. That way, I could empower others as well to achieve their ambitions and growth goals.

After completing my training, I launched D1 Standard, to mentor others professionally and into business for themselves. The response I received for my services was phenomenal, and today, my company has evolved significantly due to the rising need for good management and marketing skills. Besides the growth we have achieved through new clients and retailers, the caliber of the people we are working with has also significantly contributed to our growth. Our leadership team is currently stronger than ever, and we have the best mentors to guide us through our growth and the frequent market changes.

Over the years, I’ve come to enjoy my job much more than I anticipated. I love that I get to surround myself with people that I absolutely adore. We are all likeminded, motivated, hungry to learn, and passionate about outdoing ourselves. The most rewarding part about owning my own business is going through different challenges and coming out on the other side stronger than before. However, this would not be possible without my team.

When working on a project, we approach it head-on with the highest caliber. Moreover, we work on it as a team to ensure it is taken care of quickly and efficiently. We also make it a point to be honest with our clients and display values of authentic leadership to ensure they achieve what they are after.

My biggest triumph in this line of work is seeing the individuals who I have coached be able to attain their goals themselves. It adds to my confidence as a professional and fuels me to keep doing what I do best.

The levels of success I have acquired today are the result of several hours of training and mentoring. Similarly, being a competitive athlete, my entire life has added to my growth as a professional. I did gymnastics for fifteen years, and that taught me what a good work ethic really means. I apply the same mentality I learned from being a collegiate athlete now to my business. 

I also owe a lot of my professional achievements to those who have helped me along the way. Without them, I would have taken much longer to get to where I am today. Through their constant guidance, I learned so much about the marketing industry and even about myself, and I am very grateful for their encouragement.

When I am not at work, I love going to the beach to unwind and relax. I also happen to be a huge movie buff, so I’m usually watching movies on the weekends or during my spare time.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
